Stanley Picker Gallery is pleased to be hosting THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, a multidisciplinary exhibition by Andy Hurst, Kingston School of Art student.
Andy Hurst is a British multidisciplinary artist living and working in London, England.
He has studied in Fine art institutions such as The London Art Academy and Kingston School of Art.
His work uses a wide range of medium, objects and materials, with applied themes and narratives that are incorporated in to works of painting, sculpture and installation.
These themes of research and explorations in ancient history, cultures, traditions, mythology, spirituality and religion. In the interest and search of ancient symbolism, knowledge and wisdom that he applies and adapts into the meanings and concepts behind his work.
THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE is an exhibition with a collection of works that are inspired by the Biblical Gospels of Jesus Christ. The works are sculptures that use a mix of scriptures to depict a new and refreshing depiction of our connection to the divine God by creating a visual interpretation of narratives that tell and show the message of our salvation through the truth in Christ.
