Marinets: Book Party, Live Music & Poetry

Marinets: Book Party, Live Music & Poetry
Wednesday 26 June, 5.30-7pm (performance 6pm), All Welcome

Marinets by writer and musician Paul Taylor, presents an original verse form in a collection of poems and photographs looking at all things aquatic and nautical. The marinet could be considered an aquatic haiku and Taylor has written a wide-ranging set of marinets relating to sailing, marine biology and many aspects of watery life. Hilary Morton’s evocative photographs complement the voyage.

This presentation has been scheduled to correspond with Thomas Pausz Haunted Ecologies, exhibited in the main gallery space and inspired by the ecology of the Hogsmill River, which surrounds the site.
