Ethereal Realms is an initiative exploring existential well-being by merging experience design with the pursuit of self-transcendence. It creates immersive spaces that foster personal growth and community building through a Labyrinth-building Workshop on 20 and 21 June. Led by Alejandro Ramos Saavedra, lecturer in the Department on Graphic Design, Kingston University, students participate design rooms around existential questions and emotions, culminating in a collective, immersive experience.
These ephemeral spaces are then showcased as a public exhibition on Saturday, 22 June, inviting visitors to explore and engage deeply with the presented themes. Ethereal Realms generates new knowledge through visitor interactions, contributing to an evolving methodology for designing spaces that positively impact well-being.
