This term, Stanley Picker Gallery are pleased to be staging a special Saturday Art Club with our friends at Kingston Museum.
This fun and free Saturday session for children ages 7-11 will be led by a team of Kingston School of Art students and alumni. During their visit the young artists will explore the museum’s current exhibition K-Women: Celebrating Korean Female Artists, delving into themes in fun and engaging ways – combining interactive games, making, drawing, and discussion, and a nod to Korean New Year which fell on 29 January. Those who attended the previous week’s workshop at Dorich House Museum will be challenged to locate a special sculpture by Dora Gordine which is featured in the show.
Parents are encouraged to drop their children off and return at the end of the session, to see what has been taking place and to explore the museum together.
All materials are provided.
Booking essential via Eventbrite.
