LGBTQ+ art workshop

LGBTQ+ art workshop

Saturday 25th Febuary, 2:00pm – 3:30pm

Join us at Stanley Picker Gallery for a fun and free art workshop in collaboration with the Kingston LGBTQ+ Forum. You will delve into the themes of the exhibition in creative and engaging ways. Every workshop is unique, we will explore painting, making, drawing, pottery and more. You will have the opportunity to explore the practice and processes of different artists, we will learn new techniques, enjoy the great company and let’s create art together!

The relaxed workshops are led by a team of Kingston School of Art students and alumni and complement the gallery’s programme, which this term is Penny Sparkes, Jana Scholzes, and Catharine Rossis exhibition, At Home, a multi-disciplinary installation which takes an intriguing look at domestic spaces, featuring 4 films.
Coffee, tea and biscuits will be provided for a creative mingle. Everyone from beginner to expert is welcome.

Booking is essential via MeetUp
