This Autumn the Stanley Picker Gallery has a range of evening and weekend events for visitors, in addition to our regular programme, starting with our very first Gallery Breakfast Club on Saturday 12 October 11am-12.30pm, an opportunity for local visitors of all ages to meet Gallery staff over a coffee and juice, learn about the current exhibition and find out about our upcoming programme. Free Event: All Welcome.

The Stanley Picker Gallery is open until 7pm every Wednesday Late throughout our exhibitions with regular special events taking place here on site. Artist Andrew Bick, Senior Lecturer in the School of Fine Art at Kingston University, will be launching a new publication of his work on Wednesday 23 October from 5-7pm. The book, covering selected work and exhibitions since 2008, will include an interview with UK curator David Thorp, a text from Swedish Curator Steffi Hessler and installation shots from exhibitions in London, Liverpool and Basel.

Our monthly Saturday Art Club is for unaccompanied children aged from 8-11 years, and begins this Autumn on Saturday 19 October 1-2.30pm, with creative activities directly inspired by our current exhibition Sound Matters: Exploring sound through forms. Further Saturday Art Clubs are scheduled for Saturday 9 November and Saturday 14 December also from 1-2.30pm.   £5 per child / Booking Essential.
