Get on your bike, walk, scoot or drive along to the Stanley Picker Gallery where this half term, Tuesday – Friday 11-5pm you can design, make and wear-away your very own Streetscape-inspired mini-artwork in the form of a badge.
Saturday 30 May 1-7pm marks the launch of the 2015 Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture Degree Show at Kingston University in which the entirety of Knights Park campus is turned into an exhibition space where graduating students from every course – Fine Art to Film and Architecture to Animation (and many more) showcase their concluding projects. Just a 2 minute walk over the Hogsmill, the Gallery will be hosting a display about the construction of a Japanese Temple Gate by the School of Architecture & Landscape’s Studio 3.2 which is physically sited, an open to public view, at Dorich House Museum.
The Degree Show launch makes for a very exciting day and all are welcome to attend at any time, however, if you are worried about getting lost our Participation Curator Natalie Kay will be leading ‘guided tours’ departing from Stanley Picker Gallery at 1pm and again at 3pm. Booking is requested via 020 8417 4074 or n.kay@kingston.ac.uk
