Printing for the Planet by Creative Youth

Stanley Picker Gallery is pleased to be hosting Printing for the Planet, a fun and free print workshop open to all who are enthusiastic about art and the environment.

In this creative workshop run by members of Creative Youth, you will be able to print a linocut design inspired by the natural world. Then, by writing on the back of your print, you will share an idea or story related to the environment that we will use to complement the gallery’s programme, which this term is Dani Admiss’ Sunlight Doesn’t Need a Pipeline.

All are welcome at any time, so drop by and be creative with us.

Next year, Creative Youth are opening a new creative space and community venue onKingston’s riverside. Sustainability and environmentalism are woven into our plans for this space; whether that’s in its design, the practices we use, or the arts and cultural programming we offer to the public.
